The ability of the craftsmen stands out to combine these woods with materials like nickel silver, horn, bamboo cane and cow or goat leather.
The nickel silver is an alloy of nickel, zinc and copper, Salta being the province with the greatest tradition in silver and nickel silver handicrafts. The nickel silver is embossed by hand on semi-hard wood with specially-designed chisels.
